Phone: 617-573-6016
Nyah completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at Arizona State University. There, she worked as a research assistant in Dr. Daliri’s Speech and Brain Research Lab, where she used auditory perturbation, neuroimaging, and neurostimulation techniques to study speech motor control. She also worked with the Barrow Neurological Institute to develop software with the goal of automating EEG signal analysis for patients with status epilepticus. In her doctoral research through the Speech and Hearing Bioscience and Technology program at Harvard University, Nyah is interested in using advanced neuroimaging and machine learning techniques to understand the neural basis of speech motor disorders. She also aims to develop noninvasive rehabilitation techniques for patients with these conditions.
