Jimmy received his degrees in Computer Science (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) from Université de Rennes 1 and École Normale Supérieure de Rennes in France. He received his Ph.D. in signal and image processing from the Université de Lille at the Centre de Recherche en Informatique, Signal, et Automatique de Lille (CRIStAL) in France. There, his research focused on brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) exploiting steady-state somatosensory-evoked potentials resulting from tactile stimuli. As a postdoctoral research fellow in the Simonyan Lab, Jimmy focuses on developing and implementing BCIs for the treatment of focal dystonia using neurofeedback and real-time transcranial neuromodulation.
